Internal TFU Rank Structure
The Tactical Firearms Division has multiple policies and procedures which all Tactical Firearms Officers should follow. Anyone who is found not to be following the policy will be subjected to disciplinary action.
To abide by the core principals:
Patience, Safety, Prevention, Communication, and Coordination are our core principals. Read section 3 "Core principals of TFU" Enclosed in this Document for more information.
To utilise our equipment to the best of our advantage whenever possible:
Members of the Tactical Firearms Unit are expected to use TFU gear, and all the equipment they receive when operating in TFU when necessary to resolve situations and minimise risk of life.
To make the right decision in the face of uncertainty:
We make sure our officers have enough experience in dealing with as many situations as possible to a level where even being met with a new situation shouldn't take an awful lot of planning. We expect officers to operate with a low error margin.
To follow our SOPs and Policies at all times:
Our Handbook provides officers with a range of tactics and situations that they'll encounter. Every TFO is expected to know and understand them, so they can coordinate better with other TFOs.
To remain professional at all times:
Tactical Firearms Officers are expected to maintain their image as a pillar of admiration to their peers.
