Changes to TFU Handbook - SEPTEMBER 2025 - RTFO and Policy Updates
The longest serving sniper rifle in the PLPD's Arsenal, The Remington M24 is an incredibly accurate, easy shooting rifle with a low sound profile. Tactical Firearms Officers in Heavy gear will have access to a suppressor for this weapon as well.
The Rifle is effective fired from a standing, crouching, and with some level of skill, even a moving position. It excels at longer ranges, and is best used with stealth in mind. In the hands of a good operator, the M24 can remain unnoticed by criminals in combat situations until it is too late. As a Sniper rifle, it is a marksmans tool for covering other units, Ending volatile situations, or containing suspects in a location they cannot escape from.
Within the Trunks of all TFU Range rovers will be an M24 with a PM2 scope, to be used in Emergencies where a Marksman might be required. You are authorised to carry this weapon on your Person, However we have Policies against it being used in Close quarters situations.
